Albert J. Mann

Albert J. Mann, 74 of 113 North Orange Street, Mount Carmel passed away on Tuesday morning, May 7, 2024 at his residence.

Born in Danville on July 16, 1949, he was the son of the late Clarence and Mary (Potochney) Mann.

He was a graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School and the McCann School of Business.

Albert retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a computer analyst.

On June 12, 1971 in the former Saint Ignatius Church in Centralia, he married the former Ann Marie Haggerty who survives.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.

Surviving in addition to his wife of almost fifty-three years, Ann Marie Mann are his son, Brian Mann and his wife Tricia; daughter, Jill Mestlin and her husband John; grandchildren, Jacob Mestlin and his wife Cassidy and Emily Mestlin; great-grandchild, Paisley Mestlin; sisters, Mary Smith and Cathy Mannion; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Lokitis and her partner Rick Bennett; brother-in-law, Edward Haggerty and his wife Elaine; and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with Very Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor as the celebrant.  Interment will follow in Saint Ignatius Cemetery, Centralia.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at the Joseph J.
