Antonio Mirarchi, 58, of Newport Kentucky and formerly of Mt. Carmel passed away Friday July 21, 2023 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Fort Collins, KY.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey on August 24, 1964 he was the son of the late Vincenzo Mirarchi, M.D. and Sara (Paparo) Mirarchi who survives.
Antonio was a 1982 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School. He then went on to graduate from Valley Forge Military Academy and College.
He served proudly in the United States Navy. He served aboard the ballistic missile submarine USS Ohio and was stationed in Bangor Washington.
Antonio was of the catholic faith. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors.
In addition to his mother he is survived by two brothers Mario Mirarchi of Arlington, Va. And John Mirarchi and his wife Christine of Oreland; one sister Anna Mirarchi of Charlotte, North Carolina; two nieces Cassandra and Kelly Mirarchi.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday July 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Divine Redeemer church, Mt. Carmel with Rev. Bernard Wamayose, A.J., Pastor as celebrant. Interment will follow in All Saints cemetery Ralpho Township. A Viewing will be held Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home 40 South Market Street Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the Mt. Carmel joint veteran’s honor guard 19 West Second Street Mt. Carmel, Pa. 17851.
