Benjamin J. Komorek

Benjamin J Komorek III, 56 of Nanticoke, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he lived in Nanticoke since the age of 12.

Benny was a 1982 graduate of John S. Fine High School and attended Luzerne Community College where he obtained his Associates Degree in Computer Programming.

Benny retired from Ryder Trucking where he was a diesel engineer for all of his career. Benny was known for his love of guitars, an avid gun collector, love of ice hockey, and riding “out back” with his friends!

Benny was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin J Komorek Jr. in 2010, his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Surviving are his mother; Barbara Komorek, sister Kristen Komorek, nephew Evan Snyder, and Brother-in-law Brian Snyder all from Selinsgrove.
