Carol A. Jurasich

Carol A. Jurasich, 74 of Mt. Carmel passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Mountain View Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township.

Born in Ashland on February 4, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Moratelli) Reed.

She was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.

On August 19, 1967 in the former St. Joseph’s Church in Mt. Carmel, she married James D. Jurasich who preceded her in death on October 25, 2008.

Prior to her retirement, Carol had been employed for many years as a beautician.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish. She enjoyed holidays and decorating her home. Most of all she cherished the time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Jimmy Jurasich and his wife Ellie of Mt. Carmel; Jeff Jurasich and his wife Tanya of Mt. Carmel; three grandchildren, Jenna, Carly and Justin Jurasich; and three step-grandchildren, Amber, Samantha and Nicholas Miscavage.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Albert J. Reed on July 16, 2002.

Religious services will be held on Tuesday, May 11th, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor will officiate. A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 am in the funeral home.
