Catherine A. Vincenzes

Catherine A. Vincenzes, 90, a resident of the Mt. Carmel Senior Living Center passed away Monday January 22nd, 2018 at her residence.

Born on March 16, 1927 she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mable (Lang) Gummel.

Catherine attended Mt. Carmel Schools.

She was married to Nicholas Vincenzes who preceded her in death.

Prior to her retirement, Catherine had been employed at the former General Cigar Factory in Mt. Carmel and had also worked at Mt. View Manor Nursing Home, Coal Township.

She was a member of the former St. Peter’s Church in Mt. Carmel. She enjoyed antiquing, watching NASCAR racing and playing Texas Holdem.

She is survived by two daughters Angline Skocik and her husband Edward of Mt. Carmel and Rosemary Catino and her husband Henry of Mt. Carmel; four sons Nicholas Vincenzes and his wife Linda of Atlas, David Vincenzes and his wife Debra of Williamsport, Paul Vincenzes and his wife Velvet of Kulpmont, and Robert Vincences and his wife Susan of Cheyenne, Wyoming; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Thelma Duceman and Mary Jane Joraski both of Mt. Carmel; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Religious services will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel with the Pastor Hugh Coulburn officiating.
A viewing will be on Friday afternoon from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
