Catherine Mannello, 98 of 315 South Hickory Street, Mt. Carmel passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Atlas on November 15, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Leo “Sabo” and Elizabeth (Ford) Sebastian.
Catherine attended Mt. Carmel Township Schools.
She was a retired seamstress. She had been employed in several area garment factories. Catherine along with her late husband Orlando “Londo” Mannello owned and operated the former Royal Café in Mt. Carmel for over thirty years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis Vivino and her second husband, Orlando “Londo” Mannello.
Catherine was a member of Divine Redeemer Church and the Lithuanian Social Club both of Mt. Carmel, the Centralia American Legion Post #608 and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Surviving are her son, Francis Vivino of Neptune, N.J.; one granddaughter, Suzanne Vivino of Mt. Carmel; nephews, Alex and Michael Rusinko; one niece, Nancy Rusinko; two great nieces, Stephanie and Tara; one great nephew, Michael; great great nieces and great great nephews; one stepdaughter, Deborah Brokenshire; step grandchildren, Alyssa Klokis, Wayne Brokenshire, Jr. and Laurie Joyce.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nora Rusinko, brother-in-law, Alex Rusinko, daughters-in-law, Irene Vivino and Veronica Vivino; and her niece, Catherine Rusinko.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 11:00 am in Divine Redeemer Church with the Rev. Ryan Fischer, Pastor as the celebrant. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Ralpho Township. A viewing will be held on Thursday morning from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc.
