Charles V. Lindenmuth, Jr.

 Charles V. Lindenmuth, Jr., 67 of Ashland passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill East Norwegian in Pottsville.

Born on October 31, 1956 in Chester, he was the son of the late Charles and Bobbie Jean (Litteral) Lindenmuth.

He was  a 1975 graduate of North Schuylkill High School. 

Charles retired from International Paper in Mt. Carmel Township.

He was very active in the volunteer fire service.  He served as an Assistant Chief for the Wilburton Fire Company #1, former Chief of the Aristes Fire Company.  He was a member of the Anthracite Fire Company, Clover Hose Fire Company and Atlas Fire Company. 

Charles was an avid Philadelphia Philles fan and enjoyed hunting. 

Surviving are one daughter, Stacy Weikel and her husband Chris of Schuylkill Haven; a son, Michael Lindenmuth and his wife Gabrielle of Mt. Carmel; four grandchildren, Taylor Wysocki, Brandon Dempsey, Chase Lindenmuth and Piper Lindenmuth; a sister, Faith Brassington and her husband Ken of Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Cindy Lindenmuth of Carlise; nieces and nephews; his companion, Samatha Markiewicz and her sons, Dylan and Hunter Davidson. 

Religious services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Kay Painter officiating at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor.  Interment will follow at the Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Aristes.  A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home.  To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.stutzfuneralhome.com.
