Charles Noskoviak, age 92, of 45 South Plum Street Mt. Carmel passed away Thursday May 11, 2017 at Mountain View Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Mt. Carmel, Pa. on March 31, 1925. He was the son of the late Frank and Julia (Kerdock) Noskoviak.
Charles was a retired Carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Theresa (Novack) Noskoviak. He was married to his second wife Eleanor B. (Hombosky) Noskoviak in St. John the Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel on November 12, 1971 and she preceded him in death on December 18, 2003.
Charles attended Mt. Carmel Schools.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He served as a cook onboard a Battleship during the war.
Charles is a former member of St. John the Baptist Church, member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars post 2110 and the American Legion post 91 all of Mt. Carmel.
He is survived by a son Charles “Sonny” Noskoviak of Mt. Carmel, two sisters Joanne Kogut of Mt. Carmel and Irene Stellar of Kulpmont. Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Dorothy and Rose Marie Tomashefski and one Brother Robert Noskoviak.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday May 15, 2017 at the Church of Our Lady with the Rev. Francis Karwacki as celebrant. Interment will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will held Monday from 9-10:15 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home 40 South Market Street Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor.
