Dean Allen Leisenring, 56 of Overlook passed away suddenly on Monday, February 3, 2025.

 He was born in Sunbury on August 28, 1968. He was the son of the late Charles and Miriam (Richie) Leisenring.

 Dean was a Southern Columbia High School graduate.

 He was employed as a Production Supervisor at Global Gourmet, LLC in Paxinos.

 Dean loved spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing with his friends and always looked forward to his yearly trip to Canada. Dean was an avid sports fan. He was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Phillies, and professional wrestling.

 Surviving are three sons, Adam Leisenring of Elysburg, Ryan Leisenring and his fiancée Jillian Oley of Elysburg, and Tyler Leisenring of Bloomsburg; three sisters, Kathy Hebrock of Northampton, Joy Koziol and her husband Kenneth of Overlook, Beth Motyka and her husband Henry of Overlook; sister-in-law, Eleanor Leisenring of Overlook; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Charles Leisenring on May 8, 2019.

 Religious services will be held Monday, February 10, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel with the Rev. David Butler officiating. Interment will be private. A visitation will be held on Monday morning from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
