With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Dean C. Thomas Jr., 45. Our most beloved son, brother, uncle, family member, and friend passed away after a short illness on Monday, March 22nd, 2021 at his home.
Dean spent his final days surrounded by loved ones.
Dean was born on April 28th, 1975 in Ashland, PA to Barbara Thomas and the late can Thomas, Sr. He graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School in 1993 where he was a member of the Red Raider Football Team. Dean was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Dean was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding 4-wheelers. He loved spending time with his dog, Gunner. Dean enjoyed cooking, especially his signature chili recipe. Dean was a sports fanatic and was passionate about the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the New York Yankees. On occasion he would root for the Syracuse Orangemen. Above all, Dean loved spending time and making memories with his six nieces and one goddaughter.
Dean was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Those that knew him felt his love, and undoubtedly wish they had more time with him. The world lost a shining light with Dean's passing.
