Gilda L. Kalinoski-Scott 92, formerly of 323 West Fourth St., Mt. Carmel, passed away on Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 at the Bloomsburg Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Mt. Carmel on March 2, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Theresa Greco.
She attended Mt. Carmel schools.
Gilda had been employed as a seamstress and had worked in local area garment factories until her retirement.
Her first husband Leonard Kalinoski preceded her in death on March 26, 1981 and her second husband Joseph Scott preceded her in death on October 6, 2005.
Gilda was a member of Divine Redeemer Church and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Surviving are one son, John Kalinoski and his wife Jane of Benton; one daughter, Diane Pochakilo of Danville; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and two husbands she was preceded in death by one great grandchild; numerous brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 11:00 am in Divine Redeemer Church with the Rev. Ryan Fischer, Pastor as the celebrant. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap. There will be no viewing, everyone is invited to the Mass. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J.
