John J. “Rimo” Rimokaitis, III, 30, of Mt. Carmel, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023.
Born in Bloomsburg on October 2, 1992, he was the son of John J. Rimokaitis and Pamela (McDowell) Rimokaitis who survive.
He was a 2012 graduate of Mt. Carmel Area High School.
John was employed as a construction laborer.
He was a member of Divine Redeemer Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his daughter Aleeah; his mother, Pamela Rimokaitis and her companion Michael Bressi of Elysburg, his father John J. Rimokaitis, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann of Kulpmont; sister, Amanda of Kulpmont; brother, Tanner of Kulpmont; stepbrother, Trevor of Marion Heights; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Charlotte McDowell of Paxinos; paternal grandmother, Ruth Rimokaitis of Mt. Carmel; his companion Natasha; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John J. Rimokaits.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Divine Redeemer Church, Mount Carmel with Rev. Bernard Wamayose, A.J. officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Township. A visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to UNB Bank in care of Aleeah Weidow, 1 North Oak St., Mt.
