John L. Yuskoski

John L. Yuskoski, 79 of 113 South Almond Street, Mt. Carmel passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at his home.

Born in Mt. Carmel on March 1, 1945, he was the son of the late John J. and Regina (Concavage) Yuskoski.

He was a 1965 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.

John was employed for forty-three years at International Paper in Mt. Carmel Township from 1965 until 2008.

He was of the Catholic faith.

John was a social member of the Mt. Carmel Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Post 2110 and the Clover Hose Fire Company.

Surviving are his daughter, Elizabeth Jones of Wilburton; a son, Michael Yuskoski of Atlas; grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Yuskoski and his wife Anne Marie of Atlas and Allen Yuskoski of Coal Township; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son John “Yuckers” Yuskoski on September 22, 2022; two brothers, Lawrence Yuskoski and Norbert Yuskoski; and one sister, Regina Painter.

Religious services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. with Very Rev. Francis J. Karwacki officiating at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, Supervisor. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Township.
