John M. Comarnisky

John M. Comarnisky, 66 of Fountain Springs passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Gilberton, Schuylkill County.

Born on September 15, 1954, he was a son of the late Michael and Agatha (Hieble) Comarnisky.

John was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and Bloomsburg State College.

He was employed as a science teacher for the Schuylkill Haven Area School District until his retirement.

John was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed hunting and walking.

Surviving are one brother, Edward Comarnisky of Shamokin and numerous cousins.

Religious services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Francis J. Karwacki officiating at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt.
