Joseph M. Kruleski, Jr., 90 of 645 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Marion Heights on January 19, 1931, he was the son of the late Joseph M. Kruleski, Sr. and the late Mildred (Olbrish) Kruleski.
He was a graduate of Carteret High School in New Jersey.
Mr. Kruleski served his country in the US Air Force from 1948 until his honorable discharge in 1952. During his enlistment, he participated in the Berlin Air Lift in Germany.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a foreman for Cabinet Industries.
On January 12, 1951 in St. Mary’s Church in Kulpmont, he married the former Connie “Dolly” (Varano) Kruleski who preceded him in death on February 7, 2010.
He was a member of Holy Angels Church, Kulpmont, the Holy Angels Men’s Choir and the Holy Angels Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 231, Kulpmont and the Kulpmont VFW 8354.
Surviving are his daughter, Jolene Zablosky of Mt. Carmel; his son, Jeffrey Kruleski and his wife Roxanne of Kulpmont; three granddaughters, Amanda Kruleski of Kulpmont, Crystal Carl and her husband Frank of Kulpmont and Gina Kruleski of Kulpmont; three great-grandchildren, Bruce, Payton, and Corey Carl all of Kulpmont; three sisters, Dolores Vallo of Kulpmont, Joan Wargo of Mt. Carmel and Anita Doyle of Mt. Carmel; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 11:00 am in Holy Angels Church, Kulpmont with the Rev. Andrew J. Stahmer, Pastor as the celebrant. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kulpmont. A visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the church. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Holy Angels Church, 855 Scott St, Kulpmont, PA 17834 or the American Post 231, 856 Ash Street, Kulpmont, PA 17834. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc.
