Lawrence "Larry" Vaughan

Lawrence “Larry” Vaughan, 64 of Mount Carmel passed away on November 15,2022 at his residence.

Born at the Shamokin Hospital, Coal Township on June 27, 1958, he was a son of the late Francis Thomas Vaughan Sr. and the late Theresa Mae (Wywadis) Vaughan.

He was a graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School.

Larry was a member of the Anthracite Steam Fire Company, Mount Carmel.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were two brothers, Francis T. Vaughan Jr. and Earl Vaughan.

Surviving are his son, Philip Vaughan of Ridley Park; three brothers, Robin Vaughan and his companion Darlene of Ardmore, Kevin Vaughan and his wife Kim of Haddon Township, New Jersey, and Jason Vaughan and his wife Loretta of Sicklerville, New Jersey; one sister, Angela Farronato and her husband Mike of Kulpmont; an uncle, Craig Wywadis and his wife Debra of Mount Carmel; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Vaughan of Mount Carmel; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
