Loretta "Laura" Zevetski, 92 of 647 Pine Street Kulpmont., passed away Friday May 27th, 2016 in Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital. She was born October 2, 1923, in Kulpmont, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Moratelli) Gilotti. She was a proud, lifelong resident of Kulpmont. She graduated from Kulpmont High School with the class of 1941. Laura's favorite moment in life was when she married her husband, Robert W. Zevetski, who preceded her in death on February 28, 1984. She was a member of Holy Angels Church, Kulpmont, a former member of St. Mary's Church in Kulpmont, a member of the Kulpmont Senior Action Center and the Kulpmont High School Alumni Organization. She was an avid seamstress, shopper, reader and collector of thimbles. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching the Philles on TV. Most of all,she enjoyed her time spent wth her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by he son, James M. Stanley and his wife Donna of Elysburg; two daughters, Charlene VonBlohn and her husband Gerald of Telford, and Roberta Weinreich, of Kulpmont; three grandchildren, Mark Stanley, Gerald Max VonBlohn and Kimberly Bowman and her husband Jake;two great-grandchildren, Sara and Mason Stanley; a sister Viola Lauer of Mesa, Arizona; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Stanley on July 14, 2013; a sister Edith Kurland and a brother Victor Gilotti. ZEVETSKI-Loretta "Laura" Zevetski, 92, of 647 Pine Street Kulpmont, A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Noon Wednesday at Holy Angels Church, Kulpmont, with the Rev. Andrew Stahmer as celebrant. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery Elysburg. Viewing will be held from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home 40 South Market Street Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. A guestbook can be signed at www.stutzfuneralhome.com.
