Margaret Anne Lutz

Margaret Anne Lutz passed away on Wednesday July 21, 2021, at her home at 28 West Avenue, Mt. Carmel, PA 17851.
Margaret was born in Locust Gap, PA on January 27, 1934, to the late Mary (Devaney) Betz and Frank Betz.

She graduated Mt. Carmel Township High School and went to work at the First National Bank in Mount Carmel immediately after graduation. She worked at the bank for many years, and after leaving the bank, owned her own drapery and interior furnishings business. She also worked for the People for Progress Coalition, a non-profit organization that worked to improve the lives of local citizens. She was active in planning the Mt. Carmel Township High School reunions for many years.

She was a member of 0ur Lady of Mount Carmel parish in Mt. Carmel.

Survivors include her sons, Michael F. Bradley of Mt. Carmel; Leo E. Bradley III, and his wife Alexandra, and their son Leo C. Bradley of Alexandria, VA; and Robert Lutz, Jr, of Taiwan; and her stepson Terrance Lutz of Danville, and her sister-in-law Dolores Betz of Mt. Carmel.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert W. Lutz, and her brother Frank P. Betz and her stepson Randall Lutz.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday August 2, 2021 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church with the Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s cemetery Locust Gap. A viewing will be held on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home 40 South Market Street Mt.
