Mary A. George 92, of Aristes passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Mt. Carmel Senior Living Community.
Born in Centralia on July 1, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Francis and Myrtle (Zeis) Voscavage.
She was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.
Mary was a retired seamstress and also had been employed at the Mt. Carmel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as a nurse’s aide until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Aristes, the Aristes Fire Company Auxiliary and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Mary loved to spend her time doing crafts.
Surviving are one daughter, Wilma Sulick and her husband Edward of Aristes; one son, Karl George and his wife Sylvia of Aristes; one granddaughter, Tonia Bell and her husband Kent of Las Vegas; one daughter-in-law, Joyce George of Marion Heights; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer George who passed away on June 10, 1986; one son Ronald George; and one brother Gene Voscavage.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Aristes. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt.
