MOUNT CARMEL — MaryAnn Lindenmuth, 72, of 140 S. Market St., peacefully passed away Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, in her residence with her husband and family by her side.
She was born in Lavelle, Dec. 1, 1943, the youngest of 10 children to the late Michael and Helen (Barnoski) Dobson.
She was married June 9, 1986, to William Lindenmuth, who survives.
MaryAnn was an extremely talented musician and soloist. She was mostly known throughout the community for her Oran playing. She was an organist for the former Holy Cross Church parish and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
She enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling with her husband. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband; her only child and beloved daughter, Michelle Gallagher and her husband, Thomas; a granddaughter, Nicole Gallagher; a grandson, Thomas Gallagher and his wife, Marissa; four stepchildren, William, James and Thomas Lindenmuth, Kathleen Lutz and her husband, Stephen, and Christine Perez; three brothers, James, Richard and Joseph Dobson; stepgrandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog of 12 years, Hammy.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Genevieve Boylan, Jean Shoemaker, Dorothy Ford, Albert Dobson, Michael Dobson and Philip Dobson.
LINDENMUTH — MaryAnn Lindenmuth, 72, of 140 S. Market St., Mount Carmel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, with the Rev. Francis Karwacki as celebrant. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass Saturday at the church.
