Mitchell D. Matalavage

Mitchell D. Matalavage, 29, of Paxinos passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020.

Born in Harrisburg on December 12, 1991 he was the son of the late Leonard Matalavage, Sr. and Celine (Narcavage) Matalavage.

He was a 2011 graduate of Mt. Carmel Area High School.

Mitchell was an avid fisherman.

Surviving are one brother Arvin “AJ” Shicora and his fiancé Christina Rebuck of Paxinos; one sister, Kristen Shicora of Kulpmont; one niece, Leni Rae; one nephew, Travis; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Matalavage, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Edward and Marie (Trocki) Narcavage, paternal grandparents, Leonard and Rosemary (Noon) Matalavage.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 Tuesday January 5th, 2020 at Holy Cross Cemetery Mt. Carmel Township with the Rev. Francis J. Karwacki officiating. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market, Street Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor to defray the cost of services.
