Patricia A. Adamski

Patricia A. (Drewes) Adamski, age 79 of Catawissa, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020.

Born March 5, 1940 in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late William and Rita (Dwyer) Drewes.

On May 21, 1960, she married Donald Adamski Sr. and they celebrated 56 years of marriage before Donald preceded her in death on November 9, 2016.

Pat was employed in a clerical position at Prentice Hall and in managerial positions at various department stores.

She was an avid quilter, having made many quilts for her friends and family over the years. She was a proud member of Quilters in Bloom and loved going on quilting retreats.

Pat had a great sense of humor and was loved and respected by her family. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include sons, Donald Adamski Jr. (Gloria) and William Adamski (Megan); daughters, Patricia Hummer (Charles Jr.) and Kathleen Adamski; grandchildren, Michael, Gregory, Brooke, Bethany, Brittany, Jessica and Nakaiya; five great-grandchildren; and brother, William Drewes (Susan).

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 19th, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, Supervisor.
