Patricia “Patti” Shustack, 76 of Mount Carmel passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 in her home with her family after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Centralia on December 6, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John and Anne (Yuschock) Lawler.
She attended the former Saint Ignatius Grade School, Centralia and was a graduate of the former Ashland High School.
Prior to her retirement, Patti was employed in many local factories including Packaging Resources, Tri-State Envelope Corporation and Mr. Hanger, Ringtown.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish. Patti was fun loving. Her laugh was infectious. She loved game nights with family and get togethers with friends. Patti was also a member of the Centralia American Legion Post 608 and also played on their shuffleboard team where she would always have pom poms in hand supporting both teams with her silly cheers.
Surviving are her husband John M. Shustack; children, John Shustack and his fiance' Lori Trocki of Mount Carmel, Sherry Shustack and her husband Jack Horan of Wilburton, Kenneth Shustack and his companion Andrea Taylor of Coal Township, Robert Shustack of Mount Carmel and Jack Kenenitz whom she helped raise and considered her son; thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; three brothers, John Lawler and his wife Mary of Den-Mar Gardens, Joseph Lawler and his wife Mary of New Jersey and Mr. & Mrs. Edward Lawler of Wilburton; nieces, nephews and their families.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with the Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor as the celebrant. A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, Supervisor.
