Ramona M. Kerstetter, 87, a resident of Vintage Knolls Assisted Living Center in Danville and formerly of Pepper Hills in Danville passed away Wednesday January 31st, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Shamokin on April 11th, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Constantine and Adeline Gregor.
Ramona graduated from Mt. Carmel High School.
She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years at Geisinger Medical Center before her retirement.
Ramona was married to James Kerstetter who preceded her in death.
Ramona was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Danville. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and her trips to the casino. She was also an avid football fan following Penn State, Southern Columbia and Mt. Carmel Area. During high school Ramona played girls basketball

She is survived by two daughters Bonnie Procopio and her husband Tony of Dover, Delaware and Peggy Wondoloski of Elysburg; one son James Bierowski and his wife Carol of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren, Andrea Holecek, Tony Procopio, David Wondoloski, Alison Wondoloski and Matt Bierowski; two great grandchildren, Brittany McDonald and Sydney Holecek; and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband James Kerstetter, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Katie Wondoloski; and three brothers Albert, Edward and Raymond Gregor.
Funeral services will be announced in the near future.
