Rhoda Marie Saldukas

Rhoda Marie Saldukas, 83 of 105 Ridge Acres Road, Elysburg passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born at the former Shamokin State Hospital on December 14, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Margaret J. (Simakevich) Frasch.

She was a 1956 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.

On March 6, 1971 in Mt. Carmel she married William R. Saldukas who preceded her in death in 2002.

In her earlier years, she was employed at various area garment factories. She then took time off to raise her family and then returned to work and retired from Kmart in 2000.

Surviving are one son, Timothy Krieger and his wife Jennifer of Gilbert, Arizona; two daughters, Jodi Henry and her husband William of Elysburg, and Kelley Krieger of Frackville; seven grandchildren, William, Morgan and Kylee Henry, Carrie Cresswell and her husband Darle, Timothy Krieger, Jr. and his wife Brooke, Amy Britt and her husband Michael and Paige Littlejohn; six great grandchildren, Cameron, Daulton, Quinton, Gus, Aubrey and Maddox; nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Beckett; one brother, Charles Frasch; and one sister, Venitta Smith.
