Rita Sienkiewicz

Rita Sienkiewicz, 96 of 131 North Locust Street Mt. Carmel passed away Thursday October 7,2021.

Born in Mt. Carmel she was the daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Andrukanis) Schreiber.

She was a 1943 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.

Rita is a retired seamstress. She had worked in area garment factories.

Married on April 23,1970 in Laporte to Sigusmund J. Sienkiewicz who survives.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish.

Surviving is one son Peter Shalonis of Edison, New Jersey, one stepson James Sienkiewicz and his wife Noreen of Den-Mar Gardens, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one stepson John Sienkiewicz, one sister Claire Bolick and one brother Paul Schreiber.
