Roger T Shearn

Roger T. Shearn, 86 of 139 Steins Road Ashland, Pa., passed away Thursday May 25, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Centralia on November 24, 1930 a son of the late Roger and Hanna (Monaghan) Shearn.
Roger attended Centralia Schools.

On September 20, 1997 Roger married Sherry (Howell) Shearn who survives.

Roger was very loving husband, father and grandfather. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and will be greatly missed.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, David Shearn and his wife Lorrie of Kulpmont, Paul Shearn and his wife Arlene of Texas and Bernie Watkins of Mahanoy City, one daughter Misty Brislin and her husband Bob of Tresckow,; twelve grandchildren, Matthew, Rebecka and Murphy Shearn, Stacy Poplett and her husband James, Nicole and Cody Harris, Cheyanne Robinson and her husband Marc, Ashley, Presley, Hailey, and Shelby Watkins and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Shearn.

A religious service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10:30 am at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor with the Rev. Francis J. Karwacki officiating. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Centralia. A viewing will be held on Saturday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 10:30 am.
