Rosemarie T. Porzi

Rosemarie T. Porzi, 74 of Ralpho Township passed away Monday March 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 8, 1944 in Norfolk Virginia and was the daughter of the late George F. and Anna Mary (Wydra) Kraft.

Rosemarie was a 1962 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. While a junior in high school she attended and graduated from JA-Mel School of Cosmetology in Shamokin.

On February 8, 1964 in the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Rosemarie married Louis E. Porzi who preceded her in death on August 14, 2015.

Rosemarie was a licensed beautician and had a beauty shop in her home for over 30 years before her retirement.

She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandson, Giuliano. She along with her late husband, Lou were amazing dancers.

Surviving are her daughter Deneen Porzi of Elysburg; her son David Porzi and his wife Lorena Kutza-Porzi of Elysburg; one grandson, Giuliano Catania of Elysburg; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday evening, March 8, 2018 at 7:30 pm at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
