Samantha A. Schlieve

Samantha A. Schlieve, 45, of 351 South Market Street Mt. Carmel passed away Tuesday June 20th at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born on October 1, 1971 in Victorville, California to the late William J. Snyder and Margaret (Thul) Snyder who survives.

Samantha was a graduate of Ballou High School in Washington D.C.

She was a very loving mother and grandmother and truly enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her mother of Kulpmont are her fiancé, Jerry Miller of Mt. Carmel; one daughter, Shawna McCoy and her companion Richard Carsto of Coal Township; two grandchildren, Serenity Cavada and Cameron Carsto; one sister, Sandra Seitzinger and her husband Howard of Kulpmont; one brother, Jacob Snyder and his wife Christy of Virginia; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A religious service will be held on Saturday June 24th at 9:30 am in the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. Rev. Joan A. Brown will officiate. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 8:30 am until 9:30 am at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the funeral home to help the family defray the cost of services.
