Sue S. Remash

Sue S. Remash, age 87 formerly of Centralia and Mt. Carmel passed away Wednesday May 10, 2017 at the Mt. Carmel Senior Living Community.

Born in Centralia, PA on March 24, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Sophia (Brodish) Cherapan.

On May 23, 1948 in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Centralia she married Joseph J. Remash who preceded her in death on February 16, 2002.
Sue attended Centralia schools.

She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Centralia.

Sue was a retired seamstress.

Sue was an avid crocheter and enjoyed various crafts and playing cards.

She is survived by a son Joseph Remash and his wife Maryann of Atlas, a daughter Ann Marie Pauza and her husband William of Mohrsville, PA; six grandchildren, Chuck Coveleski, Dr. Cheryl Lees, Joseph Remash III, John Remash, Josh Stelma and Justin Stelma; three great grandchildren, Sophia and Matthew Remash, Ethan William Lees.

She was preceded in death by three brothers Frank, Michael and Peter Cherapan; two sisters Anna Cherapan and Catherine Bush.

Divine Liturgy will be held 10:30 Saturday May 13, 2017 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Centralia with the Very Rev. Michael Hutsko officiating. Interment will be private in the parish cemetery. There will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 131 North Beech Street Mt. Carmel, PA 17851.
